How do I reset progress?

1. On the home screen, tap the lock button (Parents).
2. Answer the grown-up question.
3. Tap Reset progress and settings and confirm.

This erases all progress on this device and returns the settings to their defaults. It cannot be undone.

1. 在首页点 锁形按钮（家长区）。
2. 答对家长验证题。
3. 点 重置进度和设置 并确认。

这会清除这台设备上的全部进度，并把设置恢复为默认值，清除后无法找回。

How do I change age, pinyin or sound?

怎样修改年龄、拼音和声音？

All three are in the parent area: tap the lock button (Parents) on the home screen.

• Age: chosen when the game first opens, as Seedling (6–7) or Explorer (8–10). You can change it here any time.
• Show pinyin: can be turned off for Explorer. For Seedling, pinyin always shows.
• Music, Sound effects and Voice: three separate switches.

To switch between English and Chinese, use the Language setting here or the language button on the home screen.

这三项都在家长区：点首页的 锁形按钮（家长区）。

• 年龄：第一次打开游戏时选择小树苗（6～7 岁）或小探险家（8～10 岁），之后可以随时在这里修改。
• 显示拼音：小探险家可以关闭；小树苗始终显示拼音。
• 音乐、音效、语音：三个开关分开设置。

切换中文和英文，可以用这里的 语言 设置，也可以用首页上的语言按钮。

How does the parent area work?

家长区是怎么用的？

Tap the lock button (Parents) on the home screen, then answer a multiplication question. A wrong answer brings a new question, so nothing is locked out.

Inside you’ll find language, age, pinyin, sound, the rest reminder (10, 20 or 30 minutes, or off), Game Center, your child’s learning record, this support page, the privacy policy and the reset button. Links that leave the app appear only here.

在首页点 锁形按钮（家长区），答对一道乘法题就能进入。答错会换一道新题，不会被锁住。

里面有语言、年龄、拼音、声音、休息提醒（10、20、30 分钟，或关闭）、Game Center、学习记录、本帮助页、隐私政策和重置按钮。会离开 App 的链接只放在这里。

Do we need Game Center?

一定要用 Game Center 吗？

No. It’s optional and off by default, and the whole game and all badges work without it. If you’d like achievements in Game Center, a parent can turn it on in the parent area. Game Center is Apple’s service.

不用。它是可选功能，默认关闭；不开也能玩完整个游戏、获得全部徽章。想在 Game Center 里看到成就，可以由家长在家长区开启。Game Center 是 Apple 提供的服务。
